Hey all you Musicians
Ok, heres the deal
Im a pvper, one of the ones thats sorta known to pvp on my server.
Im not the greatest, but i can kill most with ease.
Anyway, my current template is the following
Rifleman Master, Teraskasi Master, Pistoleer 0040, Smuggler 0010, and some medic skills
Heres the catch:
Iwant to go musician, i dont know why, its just a sudden goal i now have.
I think the new song they can play is really kool (quest song) and it just seems like a kickback and kool proffesion
I also realized most of the pvpers on my server are douche's to each other,
where as the cantina people are normally pretty kool.
So, what do you guys think, anything you should warn me about, before i dive into this proffesion?

I'm glad you're trying Music. I'm also glad you're not trying for some stupid reason like "the holocron told me to".
The key thing about music is to have fun. If the Cantina you are playing in is too empty or if everyone is AFK all the time, find a different cantina.
I don't know what server you're on, but from what I've seen on a few servers, Coronet is AFK HELL, but Theed often has some ATK entertainers. AFKers can get you down. Buffbots also get me down, but not while I do the grind, only while I'm master.

Bravo bud!
You need to figure out what combat prof to keep and place your points accordingly. Since I have two accounts, I decided to have one be pure helper (doc and musician) and the other to be pure predetor (swordsman and merchant). So depending on what kinda day I've had, I can go hack up someone or heal the world
Im a new master musician but have really enjoyed the social aspect of it and being able to help out my guild and the citizens of my city.

Welcome to the party! If you ask me, leveling up a Musician is more fun than leveling up a combat type.

You got that right NewJedi...actually had the best time in Theed the past two nights. I've been away from the big city Cantinas because of the afk players and no social interaction...wound up having more fun in solo groups on Dant with the chatter back and forth while doing the Village grind.
Not having the quest song bothered me.... so back to Theed and surprise surprise...LIFE! There is hope guys... new players coming over from other servers attracted by the Christmas Crawl, new players in general.... and a few vets who have found their way back. The best part of being a Musician is the social aspect of it for me.
BTW had to have someone tell me about the /getvet command to see how many days you've been ingame. Amazing the info you pick up in the cantina 443 Days here.... sheesh...and have been an Entertainer all that time.
