I personally hate that AFKers are in Cantinas, they ruin the atmosphere when they spam, even if they are not spamming they just waste the servers resources in that Cantina. I think this change means that we can be really disparaging about anyone who AFKs in public as they can now do the whole thing in private. These changes will mean there is no excuse for AFKing in a Cantina, i.e they do not need to be watched/listened to to level.
I guess.
Really, all I see is that AFK'ing our profession was made easier, yet again.
And now someone doesn't even need to leave their house, or make any strange macros for healing xp, just play and flourish.
I'm not fond of this AFK-friendly trend, and I seriously hope it's broken soon. Very soon.
I also want the Devs to stop the profession being AFKable, however from what I have seen recently I do not think they will. They may however make it so that you do not gain many benefits from being AFK (this seems to be the Devs current stance)
Hopefully now that the AFKers do not need to be in a Cantina to level people will see them in the same light as AFK loot campers and public opinion will turn against them and their spamming behinds. (Not that I'm too hopeful about that this will happen) Infact I guess what you will see is that all the people using dancer to FS grind now will camp in the village permenantly so that they do not have to make the 10 minute drive there every day.

I learned Western just last night. It did require 400,000 Musician xp. Not Entertainer xp.

I will admit, however, that I do AFK. I am currently reevaluating that tho. The reason before was that I am in a 100-member guild and an 80-citizen city and I would AFK in my own cantina in my city as a service to my guild. That was back when there was a point to it. Note about the village though... this phase is one where the sith attack. I got shot by some sith today while talking to Paemos! I wasn't very happy as I hadn't seen that happen before

And yes... I hate, passionately hate spamming ents. The AFK ones especially so. Don't we all?

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Lots of people use looping macro's atk for many things other than automating fighting/dancing. I even use them in space while mining to keep track of asteroids.
