With the new combat balance, since we buff the secondaries, will that make our buffs worth more or less? My guess would be -theywill bejust asvaluable as they are now, only adjusted in power to compliment the new combat system. A follow up to that, will we be needed or will brandy and vagnerian canapecontinue toreplace us? The entertainer is an exciting new type of profession in MMO gaming. It is a social based profession where players interact with other players.

Mr. Dev,

It will happen when you least expect it. Most likely, without any prior notice. Enjoy!

I have a question, an important question - one that will tax your new deviness to its very limits:
Given that the nerf is infinite ...
And given that bugs are infinite ...
... would you like a toasted tea-cake?

Mr. Dev
Could you tell us your background as a musician, ingame and out?
Hmm, interesting! Good question! This is a long one, grab something cool to drink, perhaps, and enjoy the in-game/out of game story of Warryyr's background as a Musician.
In-game:
The first profession I started with was Artisan. I liked the idea of having a big brown furry Wookiee who could whip up items at a moment's notice - especially vehicles. Building Spederbikes and Landspeeders was a dream come true. That dream was put on hold for awhile, though, when Musician entered the picture. A good friend of mine, a Bothan named Rea, took up Musician. He asked if I wanted to learn it and jam with him in Theed, just for some company. I joined forces with him in Theed Cantina, as we both got a good laugh out of a giant Wookiee and a tiny Bothan jamming together. We had a lot of fun. I progressed quickly through the skills, playing all the time, mostly ATK.
I admit to playing AFK for healing experience a few times, right toward the end, as the last few boxes seemed to take forever. I did not, however, spam the cantina with heal and tip begging haha - i learned that lesson fast. I mostly just played in the front by entrance with "Welcome to Theed Cantina!" repeating here and there (not like, every 30 seconds like some people). I did use macros, to make it easier to talk to the patrons. Since then, I've played in a couple wedding ceremonies, lots of get togethers, and in random places when the mood strikes me. Rea has since moved on to other professions, TK and Creature Handler, and a little Medic. I've kept Master Musician, Master Artisan, and Master Droid Engineer. Playing music is still my favorite thing to do in-game, annoyances and frustrations aside, especially when big groups get together to just jam.
Out of game:
My first really favorite band was Nirvana. I heard a couple songs off of Bleach before Nevermind took over the airwaves, and it was something that just blew me away. The guitar crunching and wailing, Kurt Cobain screaming his head off. I remember hearing that guitar and thinking "that doesn't sound complicated, but the whole package sounds great!" I was inspired to learn guitar, someday. Nevermind further ingrained this into my mind.
Turns out, a guy I'd met on the 2nd day of college lived across the floor from me in my dorm. His roommate had a Lake Placid Blue Japanese Fender Stratocaster. It looked glorious. He came back from class, and as me and this other guy talked, his roommate jammed some Pink Floyd out on his Strat, rather quietly. I turned to him and said, "turn that up man, sounds great and I can't hear you!" He smiled, cranked it up, and started really playing. It was a great moment. His name was Aaron, and our friendship grew from there. Aaron's roommate, whom i'd met first, ended up dropping out of college, but Aaron and I still saw each other and said hey, and gradually forged a very cool friendship, which continues today.
In our Sophomore year, we lived next door to each other. My roommate had turned into, well, not as fun of a guy as I thought he'd be. So, I spent a lot of time hanging out with Aaron, and learned to play guitar on his Stat. He was more than happy to teach me a few things, and suddenly I was playing power chords and slowly learning Nirvana songs. The first song I ever learned to play was "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd. Sometime later, in our Senior year, Aaron and I shared an apartment, and he acquired a new Strat Ultra with a Blue sunburst pattern on it, from his friend who rarely played it. Though his other Strat was his first guitar, he agreed to sell it to me. I still have it, and Aaron still comes by to hang out, and he plays his old Strat with a big smile on his face. He may buy it back from me some day, once I pick upa new one - just so he can have his first guitar back (I suggested selling it back to him, if he wanted it - once I got myself a new Strat).
Aaron and I have sort of focused on acoustic guitars lately, and we stilljam together here and there. I'm very much into Radiohead and Phish, Pink Floyd, and still some Nirvana, especially Nirvana's Unplugged set. Radiohead, without a doubt, is what I love to play on guitar, and they've inspired me to try and learn some piano. I'm pursuing that next, as an instrument. I still jam on that Lake Placid Blue Strat and think of when I first picked it up.
So - there you have it. Good question!

Oh great and powerful dev /bow /praise /bow /praise /bow I am not worthy to stand in your presense... point aside, we are schedualing a protest... we want the devs to know about it... so what will you spawn to break up the group? Gorax? Ancient Canyon Kyrat Dragon? Giant Dune Kimogila? Night Sister elder? AT-AT? Rebel Admiril? All of the above? others?
NPC's who steal Nalargons and Ommni Boxes right out from under you. Actually, we considered that, then we realized we could just let fellow players, who disagreed with what you were saying, do that. Worked out spendidly.
