/eyebrow Why not? They're the ones who called an Entertainment-focused city a Red Light District originally. (No, I will never forgive that.)
NewJedi, if you think there needs to be a cranky, embittered-yet-dedicated Musician in the group, let me know. I've sort of lost focus on what I'm doing in SWG, and would be happy for something like this to give me something to work on again.
I don't know how many other performers out there PvP with their Musicians.
I think I'm one of the few Musicians, thoughI've seen a couple Dancers/combatant hybrids.

Though I don't tend to do much GCW PvP as of yet, you'll often find me dueling someone in my purple hawtpants and warm hat, mandoviol in hand. I've yet to lose such a duel, so I'm quite proud of my dueling musician abilities (and it looks humiliating for the losers

Yeah, I leave my Master Musician tag up all the time. Makes people underestimate me, especially when they see me playing an instrument and know it's not a bugged title.
'Course, when 4 people come after me, two pairs of Jedi and Combat Medics, I'm still hosed. But the other day a pair thought they could take me and even though I was seriously unprepared, I managed to beat their heads in with my nasty, ugly hammer in the end. Wheeeee! Yay, Muon Gold.

I need to master Teras Kasi. So then when some POS moves my instrument, I can challenge them to a duel and kick there ass with a Bandfill in hand

Heh, I just gotme a 1000 damage Long Vibro Axe. It does close to what a Lightsaber does in combat, and that's in full comp armor.
I wonder what it must do to their ego when they're health-incapped by a Master Musician (I also leave my Musician tag up).

Personally I prefer my good ole PvP mandovil. I've been known to beat the crap outta more than a few people, mandovil in hand.

/agree I loved beating up critters with my mandoviol, then playing it. That would be just hysterical against another player. Provided they had any clue how much you have to sacrificeto play one.

Good question about an NDA. I dunno; I'll ask.
As for the sandbox, the devs still haven't asked us for our five names, so I guess we're still taking applications. The devs are also busy with JTL and thefeedback on Publish 10. Busy time at SOE.
Anyway, about three dozen Musicians have now applied for the sandbox. I don't look forward to choosing among them, though I have been coordinating with Tiaga and Panthu about who might take whom.
