Thread: When?...
Yes, any little symbol I guess would be a good thing. Sorry, I forgot that you'd mentioned this before. I guess my flash of inspiration was actually from you.

I've suggested many times we get a little symbol over our patron's head while we're buffing them, like docs get with heals. What would be so hard with that? Also, a simple, simple, simple system message of "you enhance soandso's Focus and Willpower by 700" would aid me in knowing if my ELITE PROFESSION buffs actually FREAKIN worked.
And definitely, for Musicians it's essential that they be told that the buff took. For Dancers it's easy, we get to see people's Mind stat. Musicians I guess would need Novice Medic to see the customer's Focus and Will.

Heh, I've been a Master Combat Medic, Master Medic, and now just a Novice Medic, and this idea hadn't occurred to me for Musicians. I'm trying to remember: does the Medic see the actual Focus/WIllpower number, or only wounds to those stats? If the former, then that sounds like an easy-to-implement workaround.

Hmm, for Focus and Will I'm not exactly sure. But as a Dancer I did use /diagnose to look at the target's BF, and this is not so useful for a Novice Medic, so I just assumed that Focus and Will were among them.
Now I'll have to check! lol ![]()
Lovey! So wonderful to see you post! /blowkiss

As I recall, diagnose only displays the amount of wounds to each stat (including mind stats) as well as BF.
Not the actual value of the stat.
I seem to remember wondering what secondary stats I had buffed my patient for (I am a doctor) and wanting to check with diagnose and not getting the information I wanted from it.

Both musicians and dancers really need to know what kind of duration we're getting on those buffs as well. We need some form of small interface... and we all know it.
Grr, sorry about that. Thought I had an answer
