As what I consider a "combat entertainer" (soon to be combat musician [hopefully gonna master musician and get pistoleer/smuggler skills.. and dump 1-Handed sword), I think this would be cool. I don't think new trees/subprofessions would be good but if you have mastered a brawler/marksman TREE and have novice dancer/musican you can earn special bonuses later on in musician. BATTLE MUSIC WOULD ROCK! Especially if it was a new song.. and the flourishes were like squad leader commands...

That would be awesome, To allow us a new tree to master which would lean more towards combat. They have a combat Medic right? Thats Medic + Soldier? Why not have a combat musician? I think it's brilliant!

Yeh, combat medic is earned through mastering medic and a marksman skill tree... I BELIEVE...

If you INSIST, it should be combat entertainer.. to include dancers.. but what about Combat Image Designer? Whoa. Could do some damage with those vibro-scissors

OK, my bagpipe remark was mostly a joke.

However, music & dancing are not unrelated, either IRL or in game. Master Musicians get combat bonuses, as I believe do Master Dancers. This is only fair--in a brawl, an expert dancer is going to do better than a random out of shape person, simply because they're in shape, agile, and know how their body moves.

I dislike the idea of "bard"-like skills or effects, but I still think there's room for entertainers outside the cantina.

I think my Chid horn was cheap or something, as I slew a plasma thief with my slitherhorn and was averaging 90 points of damage.
