Actually yes. "The Ranch" won't approve it. That whole gambling thing. If they did it, they'd have to market the game with the "Gambling" tag, which changes the rating of the game. They're working on changing it up a bit, so it's not so focused on gambling.

I'm paraphrasing, of course, but this was gone over at the In-Game Content forum. Or the entertainer forum. Heck, I don't remember. Must get sleep.

That's a nice explanation... I wish we could've heard that from an official source. I've been waiting for that one for a while. Don't they already have slot machines and lugjack tables?

Well, the announcemet would come from Lucas Arts, not SOE. That's who actually told us about the issues. Yes, they do have the machines here and there, but if they do a big "focus" as it were, on a Casino (it's all in the wording, ya know) that changes the game rating and they're required to throw a "gambling" tag on the outside of the packaging.

Stupid people and need for warning labels. /sigh
