Gotta agree with JohnMarble about flurry...

It seems few people want entertainer buffs and even fewer know how they work...

Conversations often go like this:

FighterDude: /shout Can I get a Mind buff?

meinagoodmood: /tell Is that a musician buff or a dancer buff you want?

FighterDude: Um... What's the difference?

meinagoodmood: Dancers buff your mind, musicians buff your focus/willpower. I can give you a musician buff.

FighterDude: okay.

--

skip actual buff dialog.

--

Fighterdude: thanks. (tips me 1K-2K credits)

Fighterdude: Now who can give me a dancer buff?

Or when I'm in a really good mood, offering free buffs...

Just today I heard the immortal line from someone (with a good few of master titles under his belt no less...)

"What does a musican buff do? I've never had one."

I'll usually vary my price depending on the amount of master musicians around at the time of the buff request. If I do a search and I'm the only master on, and there's no others in the cantina, my price will usually be a bit higher than if there are 4 of us in the same place.

I also charge a bit more since with T'sslok (sp?) my buff time is down to about 8 mins.

I dont find me buffing people afk a bad thing. If they prefer being buffed by someone who is atk (and actually available), they are welcome to leave me alone. But usually people are glad I am there buffing them reliably in 3 minutes for 2 hours - at almost all hours of the day, having a set price and no chatter going on - so they can just get buffed and dont have to worry about having to talk I have aa number ofreturning customers by now who always thank me for providing this service.

Do you insult the public shuttle transfer company because you can buy tickets from a terminal? Do you insult your bank because you can withdraw money from ATMs? I buff people and provide a service with this. It is not neccessary that I am atk, so if I sleep I keep buffing (and people also usually pay). If I am atk I chat with the customer sometimes and make sure everything goes smooth. It is clever use of the macro possibilities, not more and not less and it saves me a hell of a lot of typing
