Back on topic, I have realised, that if i target someone and my deny macro kicks in, they, as i do, receive a bunch of added/removed messages onscreen. I have to mention, at this point that this must have been my mistake, i must have forgotten to unselect you after examining your bio. For which i appologise deeply and will attempt to remember to unselect people after examining them.

So, can i just reiterate this. If you receive these messages from me, it is not because you are on my list, it is not that i (or we the buff bots) have something against you. You will probably find that it is due to the fact you were target for examination. Perhaps, next time before reporting try walking away out of range and coming back. You will see that you will not receive the messages again.

It seems to me that having such a macro on any character (but especially an unattended one) is a pretty foolish thing. So what is the purpose of it? Do you just randomly target people and then /deny them? As an unattended character, you have no control over it.

Also, since it IS your macro, YOU are the one responsible to see to it that it does not end up causing grief to other players. It should NOT be necessary for someone else to have to leave the area in order to escape the messages. This disrupts their playtime... and while we are currently forced to put up with the damage that the very presence of a bot does to our playstyle, we should not have to suffer this additional disruption.

I have a simple solution to avoid problems like this:

Play your character, instead of letting a macro do it for you....

I don't get why someone would spend $15 a month to NOT play a game

oh, and HI NOS!!!!

Wow.

Just...wow.

And finally, there is absolutely NO reason anyone should need a *recurring* denyservice macro. None whatsoever. If you want to deny someone your services, use /denyservice. ONCE. If you attempt to deny them service again, you're actually just granting them rights to your goodies, rewarding them for not going away.

Also, you do NOT need to target someone to examine them. Type /ex -name- and you can examine them. I use it when playing the ommni or nal. I use it when I'm currently single buffing a customer. I use it when there are so many bodies crammed together I wouldn't be able to use my mouse to target the person to begin with.

I won't even... ugh. Ok, I'll stop while I'm ahead.

EDIT: it took out my original format for -name-
