Thread: Why so little XP?
maybe if people didnt do the dishonorable thing, they would enjoy their time in the game.
maybe if they took the time to reach master honorably, there would be some more high-level content available to them immediately afterward.
the game, admittedly, has more to strive for. it will all come in time.
the dev's can take their time.
all of those who are 'bored' with their 'old' Master titleswill leave before then.
i, for one, will be thrilled to see what comes after that.

I think the time needed to master any one profession is just right where it is at. I do not get to play the game as often as others, and do not believe in the afk marathons that people are using. I just made music iv the other day, and probably won't make novice musician until next week sometime. I do believe that there should be a little more given at each skill level though. Maybe two songs at each skill level. I will never exclude a noob from my group, I was one once too, but the constant SW1 and rock is killing me. This would relieve some of the mind numbing repetition for hearing SW1 and rock all the time and maybe so many people wouldn't go afk all the time.
Just my thought, I don't think the afk'er is that into the game and doesn't enjoy working for something. It kind of reflects todays society. No one wants to work for anything worth while. You sure hear alot of gimme, gimme though.

Many have used them. Some more than others. It's not up to me to define how others choose to spend their $14.95, and I generally hope they don't try and define mine.
I believe the current pace of advancement is fine, but completely unbalanced within it. I really think that Musician Wound and Fatigue healing should be combined. That's the easiest of all Musician skills to raise, and somewhat secondary because of it. Being an entertainer is much more than just about healing someone elses wounds and fatigue. That's just a benefit to them. You gotta be having fun with the system to be willing to advance in it, and what you get as a reward for it should be more rewarding than two separate tracks of healing

Which is THE Truth. Socializing is always fun, can't call that working hard. Can you?!
I mean, I enjoy chatting with other people while playing music anyway, so it's not a problem on my part to AFK ALL the time either, BUT I AFK sometime too!
Because the XP takes too long to learn for those of us have Lives!
Stop the AFK-jealous/hate, alright? It's merely a strategy for people who have lives to get their Xp, there is nothing wrong with it, say if they are playing a good music anyway, and they are NOT a always-AFK person.
Besides, extra person adds Musician XP ...

Eh, I didn't say you don't have a life, I said I HAVE a life and reaching MM takes too long, so I take the AFK path sometimes! It's MY choice, and I see nothing, I mean NOTHING wrong or dishonorable about it, you all Anti-AFKers should Just STOP worrying about what other people do, and STOP being jealous bunchs!!!

You sound like you ARE VERY VERY VERY jealous Of AFKers (that you wished people who does the AFK/Macroing will become MM soon, then Never come back to the game... unless I misread what you said, if so, my fault...)

As he said, the TOOL is there to use, someone people (like you) have a stubborn opinion that it's dishonorable, I call it smart!
And, honestly, I would fight to keep AFK/Macroing stay there... just because some people have clever way of speeding up doesn't make them dishonest or wrong, or to be derserve to be hated,it's ridiculous...!!!

there IS something wrong with it to many of us. i have a life. i dont get to play as much as i want sometimes. therefore it is going to take me longer to reach my goal of Master Musician. fair enough.
that doesnt give me a valid reason to try and bypass the whole process of becoming a MM. thats exactly what AFK performers are doing. dont try and make other excuses like 'your time' and 'your life' are so much more important than everyone elses. you are not special. you are not a beautiful butterfly. you are just another example of this fast-food culture that wants everything handed to them on a platter, for free, right now. and that makes a lot of us sick.
maybe if you played the game honorably you would enjoy yourself in the process. maybe you would actually feel like you accomplished something when you reached MM.
