the skill musical mind enhancement is the buffing skill. the higher this number the better the buff will be.

I found a place for entertainers in combat. I'm a pikeman/Musician. During a base takeover, the other side was lobbing mindpoison and disease into the base we were holding everytime the door opened, getting a good portion of the people inside. Since there wasn't much for me to do, the master dancer in our group and I started dancing and playing music. The base was small enough that anyone listening/watching us could do it from anywhere in the base. We were healing the mind wounds as fast as they were giving them, giving us an edge the othere side didn't have, since we had our own people throwing mind disease.

I plan to go along , ready to play on any raid my PA does

As I've been avoiding Techniques until Knowledge is full, I'm not familiar with that skill, but the only time music has any effect is in a campsite, or a cantina (or guild hall or hotel...any place with a stage really)or player home. I would guess this skill is a + to mind wound healing, or mind damage healing...?
