I feel that the original poster was in the right, and the AFKer had no real reason to go off like that.

I myself am grinding the enteretainer professions, and do a great deal of that AFK. However, I hate my own type. I will stand the and quitely play. I will not shout everytime my macro restarts. What you basically get from me is a bot that will heal you if you stumble across me. I have "/join" in my macro incase I do get an invite, but none are expected, not begged for. I cannot stand people who think they should get tips while AFK! Please don't tip me. I am off doing something else! you are welcome to just use me and leave! I have my macro timed to give me the most XP without draining my action, so I seldom even need a heal! If you want to AFK, go ahead, but don't be a drain on the real players.

Calm down... If we want to keep our groups free of afk'ers that spam macros for tips/heals/group in invites, that's our choice. If the guy wants to spam and go afk, he can go form his own group.

everyone says afk'er are dumb..or incompetant or dont know the true nature of the entertainer professions...thats not true...the afk'ers are the peops that have their jedi and the atk'ers dont..thats what this is really all about..jealousy. Cause now the afk'ers can come kick your butt too.

Uhm...I agree that she shouldn't of went off the edge like that.Keep in mind, herattitude isn't a pure reflection of the other afkers out there though.

Because here's a newsflash, we don't care! Some people don't derive our enjoyment of the game from showing off that we know all the latest cheap gank tactics and exploits. We're the ones smart enough to play the game as we enjoy it instead of being "forced" to play professions we don't like and whining about every second of it. (And I mean really... Was someone there holding a gun to your head telling you to grind?)
Here's another newsflash.... Don't be too sure about entertainers not being a jedi.

Wow. Now your trolling through 4 month old posts to revive? you make 2 different points in that post and neither of them are related, what a completed screwed up attempt of sounding righteous.
1) Nobody says afk'ers are dumb, or incompetent.
2) So holocron jedi's grinded through entertainer professions as a means to an end, ok. There was no actual entertaining while doing it, that WAS the argument against them "knowing the true nature of the entertainer". Meanwhile the argument was being against the system for working that way, and in the process hurting the entertainer professions. I for one, never got mad at holotainers, they needed my profession in most cases to get jedi, it was a means to an end, and not their fault. It was the 9 year old mentality, such as yours, that stepped on the toes of the true entertainers at that time, that made people mad.
3) If someone knew holocrons got you jedi, and they still chose to remain entertainers, maybe they didn't want to become a jedi? I certainly could careless. Hey guess what, I been playing over a year, I have mastered two professions, entertainer and musician. That's all I want with this character.
4) What this is all about, is ignorance. Kids trolling through the boards not knowing what the hell they are talking about.
5) Why drudge up an argument 4 months old that had has nothing to do with buffbott'ing? That is now moot and no longer an issue?
Maz, besides your heavy sarcastic post of "Blah's blah's"....lol....your posts have been inciteful and reveal a fresh point of view one has to consider in this debate. But your cause is not helped when a troller of such staggering mental brainpower decides to drudge up old posts, yet make entertainers resent and hate anything to do with the kind of mentality that supports buffbots or recursive macro's in general.
Anistasio, if you can debate, argue, or come up with some sort of answer or objection to my points, and actually reach the mental curve beyond a gnat, I welcome it.
And no, "Welll...well....your a poopoo face" will not suffice. 
PS. I am totally one for debates, not flaming, debates =)
