Thread: Playback droids are broken

I didn't see this post around here yet, i can't use my playback droid anymore because of the new creature taming system.
The box with the effect and playback will just not pop up under the radial menu anymore, i have bugged this but they didn't fix it in the publish... Atleast i didn't see it in the publish notes.

Haven't any other musician noticed it?
It's preventing me from playing my music, I am not a solo artist and my server lacks good musicians!

The publish notes claim all droid modules are now working. The feeback on the issues thread says that the fix did not work, and they are still not functioning. I have not tried it myself today... but I will tonight and I will report here if no one else has by then.

Hehe... claiming that ALL droid modules are working now is a proudclaim indeed, considering how many of them were already broken to start with (not a DE myself, but I can remember reading many complaints about this). And that is what the patch notes are indeed saying. So can we now expect ALL droids to work as designed?


(yeah, I realize "working" is not the same as "useful" )

The Publish has a bunch of issues, looks like they're looking into it.


I just hope the xp changes don't screw us somehow.

The XP "change" apparently is that some imbecile in Dev-land swapped bonus and regular XP, so people are seeing things like "You get 500 XP (5000 bonus)". LOL... is it me or do these devs seem like "n00bs"? I mean... these mistakes are starting to become hilarious now.

Nothing in the patch applied, except the xp reduction apparently. (But at least people can only see thier xp gain if they have an inspiration buff --rofl-- it this thier way of making us useful ? )

Oh I know. It makes me want to cry and laugh at the same time.

Glad I cancelled one of my SWG accounts and switched to GW. It's a simpler game, but that also means it is WAY less buggy.

aye for a game with no monthly payments, it looks and runs better than SWG... lol


There will be a Hotfix tomorrow.. just wait and see... we are of some use now.. they'll fix this "bug" by tomorrow... ITS A CONSPIRACY!! THEY ARE TRYING TO KILL US OFF!!

My droid's working just fine since pub 22 fixed him on Ahazi. He's a pre-CU droid with five music tracks and one effects module installed. Swing by Bestine if you want a demonstration. 8)

The droids affected are the ones with 100% playback modules.
