Thread: Western2 does it exist?

.....and though there is Star Wars 1-4, each is a separate song. Most dances are not very different....mostly just a change in the "vamp" moves with all 8 flos being the same.

Today I've done about 2x that with western1, so it's looking like there is no such dance. Pity.

Since musicians get a good "base" from the get-go, they don't need a "2" version of the same song. The only ones that are named that way, are SW1, 2, 3, 4, and they're only named like that because they are the 4 songs in the repertoire with melodies derived from the movies (none of the others are). They aren't variations of each other (e.g., SW2 is NOT SW1 with a different base song).

No plans to include that YET, theatrical 2 dance was later introduction- just make it look like they were doing something positive for enteratiners
Theatrical 2 was introduced at the same time as Theatrical 1.
I specifically remember wonder what was up with the "Choreography Trainer" in the theatre and speaking with her on TestCenter. It was not added later.
It WAS fixed later so people could see the base dance.

Thread derailment here:
SW 1, 2, 4 = Cantina song variations. (If you were able to switch tunes mid-stream the way that dancers are able to switch dances mid-stream, you'd be able to mix all three to get the original cantina song from the movie.)
Folk = Leia's theme.
SW 3 = March of the Empire (It's always funny watching the reaction when someone realizes this for the first time.)
Ceremonial = The victory theme from the end of Ep4. (Which appropriately enough is played over an award ceremony.)
I haven't listened to the others closely enough to figure out where they come from. Virtuoso is the only odd duck I've heard, in that it sounds exactly like _Jeepers, Creepers_, which is probably a coincidence of some kind unless the copyright on that song has run out. It IS a pretty old song. I'm reasonably certain that most or all of the other tunes are also derived from the movies in some way or another.
