Thread: Inspiration Explanation Macro (is this syntax correct?)
explainbuffs: /t %TT Watch or Listen and recieve this: /t %TT PASSIVE 10% XP, 10% faction
You should probably do a search on macros in the Game Guides forum. You're not likely to find many folks in this or the other entertainerforums who'll feel kindly towards someone asking for help in creating a music-bot or dancer-bot.

Good thing you actually read what I posted
I am no macro expert, however. The ONLY commands I use in aliases (NOT macros -- I never use macros) are /sing, /flo, /bandflo, and /pause, and I've never used %TT in my life (though I know what it is). Therefore, though it looks right to me, I recommend testing it out.
Personally I would recommend the approach Cindal Harbinger used on Naritus: Write up your explanation in an e-mail. Then just fwd it to the person. It's easier to follow than /tell spam for the reader, and you can use the e-mail editing features to make it look nice and explanatory.
EDIT: Actually, the : after "this" should be a semicolon, or in the macro editor put each command on a separate line.

Well, I figured I gave you good advice whatever you thought about the commentary. ![]()
Anyway, here's an official macro guide and command list. By what I read here, your macro should work fine except that you need to use semi-colons';' between commands, not colons ':'. I think I'd also use %NT in place of %TT.

I don't believe the /t %TT will work. If you have them targeted you can do a /tt
This is correct.

I standardly have a macroed message for "/reply" for that kind of stuff, but also in spatial.
My personal favorite is my macro....
/r I have no set fee for inspires. I ask people to tip what they feel its worth or what they can afford.
I use it every time I get a tell "How much for a buff?" which ends up being from 5-50 times a day.

I have more to add, but is the syntax correct for that, to send a /tell to the target?
Thanks

You can use all aliases as your macros fyi. After all they are the same. Just that instead of hitting F1-F12 etc you type out 2-3 letters in the chat box.
