Thread: Jedi Crafting
I would've said, "I don't know...I'm not a Jedi."
But I'm mean like that... hee hee....

I was going by what Tiggs posted in the Jedi forum on the 29th.
Since my other post on the In Testing forums will probably be missed I will repost the updated information here...
Jedi are a combat profession not a crafting profession regardless if they have to craft their own weapon. However, after further research (just saw answer in an email), Jedi will still get a weaponsmith buff and reap the benefits.

There was no impact from a Musician buff yesterday whatsoever. Using identical materials, the exact same results obtained.
BTW, where do people observe the 2% resource boost? At what stage in the crafting process does it show and how?
It will show in the experimentation stage most clearly - if your resources are able to make 98% then with a 2% buff they should hit 100%.
now that the basic insp buff no longer gives a 10% bonus to crafting and the Weaponsmith buff doesn't seem to work, in my attempt to craft 5 Fourth-Gen Two-Handed Light Sabers yesterday, I only recieved an amazing success twice, while only using 1 exp point per experimentation attempt. I have a total of 7 points since I have completed Saber Techniques IV, so the bottom line is I received 2 amazing successes out of a total of 40 attempts (including the initial assembly on each saber). Please note, this was with Pyrollian Cake, Bespin Port, in a Research City and with the new weaponsmith buff that Tiggs said we should use in crafting LS's. Prior to this, I would at least get 1 or 2 amazing successes per saber attempt.
Needless to say this is very frustrating because I am wasting the valuable (best ever) resources. My alt is a 12pt Master WS and I am not having the same level of difficulty in crafting my weapons. In fact, quite the contrary .. my weapon stats have increased since Pub 23 went into effect, which tells me the new buff is not working for Jedi as Tiggs said it would prior to its release.
