A hologrinding musician is a musician till they drop it, show people a little more respect and dont be so arrogant.

I dont know much about leveling musician fast, but I know in the entertainer profession its best just to make instruments all the way to the 4th box. I'm still in two minds whether to then go up the knowledge line so you can get more xp per tick or to go up techniques line so you can get better intstruments to craft.

My suggestion- Quit hologrinding. Jedi isn't worth that much trouble. Wait for the cool quests to come out!

But if you really want to hologrind it, I would look for some hologrinding tips, or something. I don't recomend AFK entertaining, and won't tell how to do it, since it is, for the lack of a better word, cheating. But you can look for some sites that gives tips. Most of us are all natural Musicians who don't do AFK.

To be followed by the next one...and the next one...and the next one...

HE may only be here a short while, but WE have endured six months of AFK holo-monkeys in every entertaining venue. How should we feel about just one more that will only be here "till they drop it" ?

There are some posts for the "aspiring jedi" with many
tips already, but a short list:

always use the best instrument you can use

if possible in the group, use your best song

try to get into the big groups to get the group xp bonus

2 flourish in 10 sec gives best xp output, but uses lots of action,
so either buff up or do 2 flourish, pause 20 or something

dont use any spatial says in repeating macros, it may get you on
ignore lists and you may have difficulties getting in groups

you can grind the musician xp part by building instruments, but
you need healing xp from listeners / watchers

well... this maybe not applicable to you, but

have fun

My god I have never seen so much hate. My advice is to take it easy. Dont take life so seriously especially for someone just asking for a little help. Props to those thathad adviceand (thumbsdown) to those that diss. Its not just holo-grinders that add to the afk mess in coronet so dont go pointing too many fingers. Allot of entertainers are afk right beside the holo-grinders....

Alright heres my say,

1st to the one asking for help:

The advice with highest instrument/song is good heres what you need for a macro and reasonably acceptable AFK edicate
A. Stand in the corner!
B. /startmusic /flourish # is the command do two every 9 secs using /pause and loop it
C. NEVER PUT ANYTHING LIKE "Tip me!" "Heal Me!" "invite me!" or anything outloud
D. If your in a "anti-AFK" cantina then you should go to coronet which is usually Filled with AFK people and you wont be noticed

Hope my helping AFkers doesnt offend musicians but the faster they do this the sooner there back on the streets

Omg AFK macroing is not cheating (unless you usesome kind of third party program or something)its just frowned upon by people that have nothing beter to do than worry about what eveyone else is doing. Most people do it, go to the entertainment proffesion forum you will find some very useful information on how to grind out the profession. You will get more sound advice than most of the arogant condesending information you got here

Hi... welcome to the proffession. Let me first start off by saying that AFK grinding is weak and i hope you don't do it. But there is a way to master the proffession as fast as you talk about. Basicly here is what you do:

IN the entertainer line. Craft through Music IV doing the slither horn. Then call over a bunch of friends and hire a band. You want the largest group you can have in the band with all masters, and you want all muscians. Bandflourish the band via: /band #(1-8) Have your friends get a combat medic to poison their minds. If you have 10-20 people listening your healing xp will be super fast but get as many as you can. Keep a trainer close, always use your highest instrament and song. This will level you that quickly aka about one day with say 12 hrs of play. It will also cost you about 2-5mil but if its speed and not cost then your set except one thing. YOu will have a ton of people there and it will be a fun party if you make it so. Do this in a private cantina to make a player city come to life. Anounce it so more people show up from time to time. offer the people listening reasons to stay. Do it this way and enjoy your 12 hrs as muscian before ya move on

I don't agree with hologrinders, but I try to help them so they can finish the profession and move on.

Buy a new instrument every chance you get. Create two macros:

macro1:

/flo 1;/pause 8;/flo 2;/pause 8;((continue until flo 8 and pause 8));/macro macro1

macro2:

/startmusic [highest song possible];/pause 60;/macro macro2

Run them both, go to sleep like every other afk'er.
