LOLnice story, Drygo. It'sfunny, in a sick sort of way,how many guys out there are homophobes and automatically assume that a male Entertainer must be homosexual.
My old reply used to be: Hey, I spend my time in a cantina surrounded by beautiful women all day. You spend your time beating animals to a bloody pulp. Which of us is the strange one?
Lately I've been leaning toward the Gypsy standard™method and just hitting on the poor guys.

Let me know if this is inappropriate and I'll edit it to be something else.
I wouldn't want to get banned hehehe.
I know I've personally been called a lot of interesting things out here on the boards, and so have Entertainers in general. So...this is a thread to mention what ones made you laugh the most, eg which trollsworked hardest to find something insulting to say.
Comments about me:
5. Undesirable as an entertainer
4. Lacking self-worth
3. A Militant entertainer troll
2. A faux elitist
1. Negative AFKophobe
General comments about Entertainers:
5. Tortuous
4. Boring
3. Miserable
2. Vomit-inducing
1. Suicide pondering
Well those are my favorites so far. Anyone have some things that have been flung their way?

My musician rarely has problems....one repeatable offense, though, is that I am resting or just arrived and haven't started playing yet, I am "commanded" to dance just because I am female (and have an attractive toon). Despite not being in a "dancing" outfit (sort of an 80's rock chick look) and holding an instrument, and with a master musician title over my head,1337 d00dz seem to only think I dance.

Hehe, yeah... this has happened to me too a few times- I have the Master Musician tag up and an instrument in hand, and people ask me if I can dance for them.
The disturbing thing is that my char is a male Bothan... ![]()

Let's see... what was the last one... an intelligent conversationalist said I felt the galaxy was there JUST for me. Then told me I was being put on ignore and to have a nice tantrum. I got a good laugh out of that one.
Been called elitist and narrow minded for voicing my opinions of buffbots.
Bitter, burned out players who have no business playing the game any longer.... This was a good one too
Oh yeah... my RL girlfriend plays a dancer. While she uses an exquisite dancer's leotard for the +5 mind enhancement, she generally prefers to dance in clothing more... modest. It's funny because after a day or two of dancing like that, the other dancers around start appearing in nearly identical outfits.
Well, one day she was laughing over the fleb that came in the cantina and demanded to know why she wasn't naked. She politely informed him that she isn't a stripper there to turn him on. To which he replied, 'Wutever hore' and stormed out.

I'm a Twi'lek male dancing in the Cantina in Coronet, minding my own business when I get a tell: "hey, wanna give me a private dance?". I chuckle to myself as I noticehe hassome ridiculous name like deathmaulXXx or what have you. I proceed to reply: "Alright, but, you should know, I'm a male." To which, he replies; "oh, sorry dude. I though only females could dance. my bad."

Ha! Hey, this male-dancing gig is kinda fun. I have Popular and Poplock on Live now, and I really enjoy doing Popular. I actually look *good* up there.
I thought of one more somewhat sadder story about insults. I had a friend who danced for a customer who walked away without tipping her. She sent him a tell asking why no tip. (Me, I'd never do that: I assume people won't tip, and if they do, great.) He replied: "I only pay people who work for their money." Ouch.

Someone called me a Rodian Ho once, but it was just a tease
I generally don't get trolls (my public loves me
) so no funny lines from me.
I have seen one or two female (real female) dancers get harassed to the point of tears by some people. Of course, despite 50 /report's they're still playing the game.

I think one of the funniest entertainer stories I've got is from a few weeks ago. /curse findfriend!
I was just standing in Theed Cantina playing my mandoviol, asI tend to do, and one of my dear friends saw I was on and decided to visit. He noticed I forgot to swap off my Master Chef title, and shouted a comment that went something like, "Wow, guys, check it out! Leilani here is a good cook, a master entertainer, AND she's naked!"
You see, he also noticed my tendency to forget my luxurious gown is bugged, and when I wear it, it shows up to me and no one else.
Vaguely "Emperor's New Clothes," but the story's not over, lol.
I instantly switch into my backup gown, /demure and /blushing as fast as possible, but before I could evenmention his penchant for wearing women's clothing, I am literally FLOODED with tells asking if I'm single. So, I couldn't lie. Here's what I said, and ended up shouting to all of Theed Cantina:
"Okay, everyone! I am flattered that I am 'OMG JSUT WUT U WNAT1,' but the truth is, I have been happily married to Desiree for over a year, and nothing you can propose will ever change that!"
Oh, did I forget to mention? Joke wedding with my best girlfriend + accidentally selling the ring to a vendor = We're married forever.
Needless to say, the tells only increased after they discovered my...*cough* supposed tendencies. My tells were just a sea of three's and ways that night, with several hundred k on the line. I logged off early, and laughed myself to sleep.
How was that?

lol. I have had people ask me to dance as well. And what is funny is now that I am no longer a musician, seems I get even more requests for buffs.
