Hello, all, and thank you for the warm welcome. Some of you (Rhobartt and Kora) know me better as Ricky Starwalker, Master Musician and denizen of the Coronet Cantina on Chilastra. I also played a musician in beta, and I have a newb musician on Starsider named Rick Starstrider. But Ricky is my "main."

FWIW, I'm also a musician in real life; I am a serious pianist (I own a Bluthner 7-foot grand), I play acoustic guitar and a little electric bass, I have performed in opera (heh, as the "Second Man in Armor" in Mozart's Die Zauberlote) and musical theater, and I have extensive choral experience.

I'm very committed to our profession, and I'm eager to get started working with you on a constructive dialogue with the devs. Hijo, for what it's worth, I've already posted more than 20 times in this forum, and I've posted on issues relating to musicians and entertainers in several other forums. I read the forums every day, and now that I'm correspondent, I will read them even more frequently.

My charge from Q3P0 is the following:

Accordingly, I'd like to develop a list of Top 5 issues over the next few days. I'm not quite sure when Q wants his first report, but I'm going to aim for this coming Monday. I know folks have already started a thread for me on pending issues, but I think it best if I also start my own thread and incorporate the existing comments into it. That way we'll have one agreed-upon venue for discussion.

I've had the chance of being able to play with you a few times already and it's always been great fun.

I'm eager to see you lend that musical ear of yours to musician concerns. All the best of luck in managing to organise the sometimes discordant thoughts on these boards (not that that's a bad thing) in more harmonious issue lists for SOE.
