Okay, I finally did it; you know, that thing I said I wouldn't do? I went out and pre-paid for World of Warcraft and hit the Cancel Subscription button on my Star Wars Galaxies account.
I will miss all of my friends so much...the few that haven't preceeded me. That's all that's kept me going for the past couple months. The retirement of my in-game husband about two months agowas probably the most crippling blow, and then...WoW. Permit me this one last bit of bitterness: it's what SWG should have been, could have been, and wasn't. I waited for over a year. I'm done.
I had hoped to have an entertainer-focused shop outside Theed, Naboo on Starsider. I never really got around to finishing stocking the place to my satisfaction for a grand opening, but there's still a bunch of things there that would be of interest to performers (all I have for image designers is some Ahrisa). It's all at 1cr, and there's a bunch of stuff.
EDIT: See, there's a reason I got blonde spots on my lekku. Waypoint is -4563 3323 outside Theed, Naboo.

very sorry to see you leaving Echinacea, but I plan on playing WoW myself, so maybe we can hang out there

Sorry to see you go, Echinacea. I've been in the WoW beta, so I now how fun it is. Me, I'll be playing both games, but I have plenty of goals left in SWG -- Western to play, dancers to tickle -- so I'm not going anywhere.
