I have been trying to find or figure out how or with who to train Novice Merchant and so far nobody in Ahazi server at this time seems to know or is too busy to answer I guess, been like this since yesterday with no luck, I guess this would be my best bet if you guys here can't anwser then I am done with the game, something that seems to be so sinple has become horribly frustrating.

You need to find a NPC Merchant Trainer in order to train to novice Merchant.

You can find them in most towns in a guild hall and theres usually a artisian trainer in there also.

You need to train using a NPC to Get Novice Anything...after that you only need a NPC when you want to train Master.


Be warned tho the NPC Trainers cost a good chunk of change to train.

The one I went to is in the guildhall in Bestine, Tattoine.

Small correction:

Players can also teach Master skills, the only skill not teachable by players are the Novice skills.
Ofcourse, the hard part is finding a Master Merchant to train you.

Just create a post on here to find merchant on your server or keep on eye on who posts. I have several friends who are master merchants.
