Is that possible? If so how's it done? I tried entering the same thing used for house nameslike:

\#000000Name but it kept rejecting it...

Colour codes were disabled in the last patch

Hex-color codes were never allowed for vendor names. And the last patch only took away hex-color codes for crafted items. Colored structure names and waypoints are still allowed.

There was a change to the vendor name filter on the last patch (it was made more restrictive) but it never allowed colors.

it would be so more helpful if it showed you the part of the name it dislikes - as im sometimes absolutely baffled as to why some things i chose are rejected. I try variations of the same - as im not sure what bit it doesnt like and sometimes it works and sometimes it does - rather haphazard at best.

I can't name a female vendor in my house "Hannah" (my wife's name IRL), because the filter says it's "obscene."

I suspect it takes issue with the 'Han' part of Hannah.

Yep the letters "han" can't appear anywhere in your vendor name.. I thinks "ace" is filtered to.. there are some odd rules for the filter that is for sure. (General is out too..)

The obscenity filter blows....it disallows names like that and allows others that are actually obscene.

cant say Christmas either btw I just said X-Mas replace the x with Chriost minus the O blah blah blah u get it
