Thread: Vendors info option
I dont know if this idea has been brought up before, most likely it has.
As a Chef selling food I spend a lot of time working with customers who dont really know what they want. I would like vendors to have the ability for me to write up something for customers to read. Not an ad bark, but like an info button for the vendor, so people can read about whatever the merchent decides to talk about.
I know I would include a quick FAQ on food, and list food and drinks that people may be interested in for boosting "x" stat, instead of me spending about 1/3 of my game time answering the same questions.
Basically I'm tired of answering the same thing over and over again, and would like the ability to make this information available to my customer through my vendors.
I know currently you can place an item on the vendor for sale for an outrageous amount of credits, and name it "info" and then put text in the description area, but that to me just seems like a cheap work around. I see so many people do it that it doesnt make sense why it isnt a vendor feature in the first place.

People never read that stuff anyway.
I once had two of those items detailing how to tell if a weapon on my vendor was sliced. Each weapon also had a "Sliced" in all caps in the description if is was sliced. Less than 24 hours later two customers were complaining that they didn't know the weapon was sliced.
Your best bet is to create the email that Draznar mentioned and just forward it to people who ask you questions.
