Thread: The real problem with vendors
I have seen a lot of "problems" with vendors.
- There is too much storage on them and it is used as an exploit. so now they want to limit the vendor to 150 items. Well that kills a lot of peoples business, cause if you offer 30 different items you are limited to 5 of each. All I sell is Doc supplies so let me show you how likely that is
Stimpacks B, D, and E (3 items)
Wound packs (6 attributes) B, D (15 items)
State Packs (5) (20 items)
Buff packs (6 attributes) (26 items)
Cure posion/disease (28 items)
Rez packs (29 Items) - They can be kept after dropping the skill.
- Poor interface system.
But 1 thing really is a problem EMPTY #*$&*(#&$*#& VENDORS!!!!!!
I started a new character, so being a merchant on another server I look for vendors on the map. I must have hit 40 empty vendors looking for weapons alone.
There needs to be a mechanism in which empty vendors inicate such. And limiting the amount we can put on vendors is not an answer it will increase the problem!!!
I have 412 items on my vendor now. Why? cause sometimes I get a rush on items (stims before a big PvP event and such) And I know that I have a lot of repete customers because my vendor is always stocked to the extreme.
This game has enough mononity in it. lowering the amount you can put on the vendor is not a solution, it makes another problem worse!
