I don't understand why there are time limits on items you list on your own vendor. I put something for sale on my vendor, if it doesn't sell in 30 days, I have to relist it. I just don't understand why this is? It discourages keeping your vendor well-stocked. I am a weaponsmith/merchant on bria. I try to keep at least 300 plus items on my vendors on 2 different planets. This is so when a customer comes to my vendor, he will definitly find the weapon he is looking for. of course, im not going to sell 300 weapons in 30 days. maybe i'll sell half of them. this means i have to relist 150 items. with all the lag, even if you are in the middle of nowhere it can take more than 2 minutes for a single item to be relisted. I just think it is ridiculous. It discourages well-stocked vendors, which is what everyone begs for.

Never got to finish my opinion =)
What I was going to say was that i think It's good with a 30 days limit. Or else a crafter don't have to do anything at all (except for crafting thing). What I would like to see as a change is that when you want to put your items back for sale you should just have to mark the item and press "sell item" and it will get back on the sale list with the same price. Then you can mark every item and with only two clicks you will have all your items back for sale at the same price.
And I also think that Efficiency II and IV shouldgrant +10 days or something to that limit and master grants another +10 days.

I dont seem to have that problem. I go through about 300 weapons a week. Now I have to slice (on another char), offer 25 weapons at a time, then accept 25 weapons at a time, then when I'm done post prices on all of these. Now that is time consuming. I think I'm experiencing a bit more lag than you
. I wouldnt be complaining about having to repost 150 weapons every month cause of lag, I would be complaining that I only sold 150.
I would like to see an option to accept more than 1item at a time from offers, that would decreaserestocking times considerably.

Again, it's on purpose, so that vendors get empty when the owner quits, and the items get destroyed and it helps the database. Seeing how many players make sure to empty their vendor before quitting, I think it's a good thing.

At one point it was worse... At one point the limit was 7 days.
Things have gotten... better? is that an acceptable comment?
Some things have improved... not wanting to give the devil his due, but having to reset the adbark and planetary adverts everytime the server was shut down (daily) got old.
this was when adbarking was new... and notthe tedious spamit is today.
This was also when the Planetary Map Adverts would overlap if more than one vendor was registered at a location making an undecipherable mess.
All things considered. Merchant Class has been trifled with... I won't go so far as to admit improvment... but rather a gradual isolation and remediation of existing issues that have plauged us from day one.
We still suffer missing vendor experience, missing credits from sales, disappearing stock, vendors... im beginning to digress.. but the point is made.
