After recently reaching business III I'm ready to start up a vendor. Do I have to own a house to do this? I don't need storage at this time yet so I'd rather keep all my lots for harvestors. But is there a way to have a vendor in some sort of common area that I have total control of (meaning no one else can remove things from it)?

You have to set up a vendor in a player owned structure of some sort (house, guild hall, merchant tent, cantina, etc)

If you do not own one, you can find someone to let you place it in their structure. (Typically this is another business or some type of common mall)

The process:

1. Owner sets you to admin rights (just long enough to place your vendor)

2. You use the structure control panel to create your vendor. The vendor appears in your inventory.

3. You place the vendor in the building.

4. (Once you have placed the vendor) Owner removes your admin rights. {You do not need admin rights to operate the vendor, just to place it}
