Thread: Vendors went *POOF* !

Has anyone had their vendors just disappear all of a sudden?
I was in the middle of loading up one of my vendors with paintings, when all of a sudden, the window closed and ALL six of my vendors disappeared. Poof - all gone. I know its not a maintenance because I put severals months.
I've put in a CSR ticket but I wonder if this is a game glitch that has happened before.
And if your wondering, yes ... I am panicing a wee bit LOL

log for about 20 minutes .. but yea.. make sure you submit the CSR ticket .. it may just for someodd reason be a graphical glitch heh.. but i would be panicky too

oh yea.. have a friend come see if they can see the vendors...

I have. They don't see the vendors either. I waiting in my shop watching customer after customer walk in - ask where the vendors are - and walk out.

ewww.... I haven't had it happen to me before .. but in my old city someones vendors used to go on breaks a lot but they always returned ... with everythign in them .. but they all didnt disappear at once... =\ best bet is to just wait onthe CSR to answer your ticket and explain to your customers that your vendors are temporarily on strike in an unknown locations heh

Not quite the same thing, but the other day I created a new vendor, added maint, started stocking...
Went off to get some more stuff to add and when i returned the vendor had disappeared.
I submitted a ticket and went on with my evening, a few hours later the vendor re-appeared with all the goods intact, so i deleted the ticket and carried on.
No-one else could see the missing vendor either, so it is fairly similar to your problem, don't know why it happens.

This has happened to me more than once. My theory is that they get stuck loading back into the world, but its just a guess. I have never had one not show back up. The most humorous one (after the face) was the new vehicle vendor who showed up for work, accepted 10 vehicles from me then decided to run off for a coffee break for two hours. You just can't get dedicated employees these days.

I had a CSR actually enter the game to meet with me on this. While waiting, my vendors all of a sudden popped back out. I thought it was something the CSR did but when I thanked him, he didn't know why LOL.
He told me that my house is on a server line and that has a tendency to make things disappear. However, I've been there for 2 to 3 months now and this is the first time its happened. The CSR took me outside, showed me where the line was and recommended to move my house farther back(yeesh - a shiver went up my spine when I saw that on the screen).
The CSR logged, I go back to my house to finish loading up my vendor and .... yup, you guessed it ... THEY WERE GONE AGAIN! ~sigh~Actually, I was started laughing becasue it was starting to become a sitcom episode and I was the stooge.
I'm hoping everything is ok when I come home tonight and thiswas just a one-time glitch and everything will be finewith the server reset. As it stands right now, even if I want to move, I'm unable to retrieve my products.
Maybe they are striking.

This happened to me - same reason - my shop was on a server line. The CSR's dragged it down a bit and things have been fine since. Note - they didn't drag it down because of my problems - they dragged it down because it had turned into the Hotel California - about 100 players one weekend went in, and couldn't leave - they ended up in limbo - including the many CSRs that came to check out the problem.

this happened to me today, placed my rodian female vendor and she decided to take a vacation.
im gonna have to start doing background checks on the vendor npc's before i hire one.

Lol nice!
Yeah they always show up again the day after. And for some reason sometimes you don't see them but other people do.
