Thread: How to Stop the Change

Hi Folks,

The solution to your problem is very simple.

It isn't putting another petition up on these worthless forums for people to sign. I am for you on this, just so you know.

You want to get this stopped it is simple.

You the merchants and the crafters hold the SW galaxies by the balls. So today, tomorrow the next day you apply the pressure. How? Stop selling. Close your vendors, have your friends and guildmates buy houses and store everything you have in there.

It's hard but if you stop putting up vendors and selling there will be no more stim paks, no more food, no more drugs, no more composite armor, no more crystals, no more of anything. When all of the SW community is in disarray and everyone is finally as mad as hell at SOE developers, just maybe maybe then the twits will stop running around with the nerf bat hitting every profession that is actually functioning and actually do something constructive.

My last idea is, you know you have all been tempted to sign up for JTL. We the community have the power to make them fix this game. It's simple. We don't do any beta testing. We don't buy the expansion. We won't until this game is fixed.

It's radical, it's almost democratic, I know it's the basis of good business, which says, "the customer is always right". So merchants and crafters are you willing to pull your vendors. One week and the Star wars game will be in chaos. Can you do it?

Your fate and probably the fate of the whole game rests in whether you can work together to make the SOE developers either wake up and actually fix something, or continue to ignore the SW community forever.

YOU HAVE THE POWER! WITHOUT YOU WE CAN NOT DO ANYTHING! USE IT!!

....and then no matter how hard we get nerfed, we still keep CH because we are still some of the coolest characters on the game.

Good premise, impossible to carry out seeing as how it will be hard to get the noobs and such to play along...Good idea.

I like the idea, but the only way something like this would work is if more people got together. What we really should do is form some kind of players Union. Unions bring strength in numbers. Things happen cause of Unions.

I am ready to try anything to get the Devs to actually fix something and that does not mean NERF something I mean fix the game.

Here i am sitting at my computer and i am contemplating why i put up with all these nerfs. Well the reason is that i truly enjoy the game and think that overall, it is a fun and enjoyable game. HOWEVER, i am sick and tired of all the &*^%*&^ nerfs. They are driving me nuts. I was a creature handler when they nerfed that and made the profession .... pretty bad. They took this profession from a good PvP and PvE profession to a good tanking profession. But hey, i moved on to something different. I chose to go the route of the mighty commando. This profession had the ability to stack different burns in order to deal massive amounts of damage. I remember when i could deal 20k damage burns to a krayt dragon and lay it on its back in 5 mins. Ahh the good ole days. Well they screwed that up by lowering the amount of damage that burns deal by almost 60%. Now commando is not a terrible profession by any means, in fact it is still rather powerful. But i decided it was time to move on to something else. This is when i decided to drop all combat and become a mighty crafter and try to conquer the weapons market. I also decided to do this to make lots of money, but i realized that it would takes lots of hard work and diligence to become a reputable crafter. I ground my way through weaponsmith and right about the time i reach master, they anounce the "Crafting Revamp"...my butt. This was a sorry attempt at the devs to help us newbs into the market. But what about all the 12-point smiths. They were now able to experiment not only on the damage line, but also on one of the other lines in experimentation. So basically their great idea turned out to hurt all of the non 12 point smiths like myself at the time. For months after this, the nerf-day items sold for twice as much as regular items. I am so glad that the devs thought this one through and finally listened to the crafters but instead of pushing back the publish, they hot-fixed it a day later. And now we come to the merchant NERF. This is a way to help get rid of empty vendors and force people to have some merchant skills. This i completely agree with and i think that you should keep some of your merchant skills in order to have vendors. HOWEVER, i by no means agree with the item limit. THIS IS SO DUMB THAT I CANNOT BELIEVE WHO CAME UP WITH THIS STUPID IDEA. I would use stronger language in that last sentence, but it would have simply been blanked out. Why must you devs constantly "improve the gameplay" when in reality you are screwing it up. Why dont you do what the players ask for since we are the ones shelling over $15.00 a month. Why dont you guys listen to us and if a large enough group of people disagrees with one of your changes, why dont you freaking listen. You are driving people away with some of your stupid patches. Listen to the general population, and you will not only fix the problems in the game, but you will also have happier customers. So i am going to summarize my thoughts... dont make a vendor item limit, or at the very least, make it a more reasonable number like 500. PLEASE!!!!!

It is a good idea buit you need every one one each server to do this.

and finding room to store thousands of items will be hard.

plus you wil have a few who will say no way.

keep trying hun.

i hope with all of us yelling on the forums they will listen

hugs
