I agree if you don't have the skills for the vendors to operate they should not work...
but the limits they are putting in are bad bad bad...very bad for the game.
1. it will not make the AS/WS hunt down master merchants to sell stuff for them...who in there right mind is going to trust some random master merchant with gear....I would not trust ANYBODY in this game with my stuff if I was a crafter.
2. it will drive prices up and drive out crafters as the work to keep the vendors stocked will be too much work.
3. it will mean less items in the game and that will mean inflated prices because of demand.
4. it will mean more SP spammers...anybody remember EC in EQ? I will park my alt at the sp spamming selling yada yada yada resources send a tell to Misfit if you want to see and or buy (yeah...there will be lots of alts doing this....it will be ugly)
5. It will mean we will have forests of factorys to store items
6. It will not help the casual crafter...the casual crafter does not have time to stock the vendor once or twice a day...they will be hosed.
7. It will mean vendors will only stock the top selling items...gone will be the days where you can get almost any weapon in the game on Armani's (corbantis)vendor and or oddball armor...why stock it when you don't even have room for you top selling item?
Fact is merchant is a crappy class that makes no sense...what service does merchant offer to the community??? They can change signs on houses. That is it. Beyond that they can't offer anything to you or me. It is just a skill point killer so that you can place vendors for yourself.
