I say go one step further:
Remove empty vendors from the PLANET!
I so dearly want to be able to kill any empty vendor and burn down the store it's in.
Sometimes I feel like I'm in the "cheese Shop" sketch from Monty Python.

Hey, if this Merchant nerf goes through I'm sure there will be a high percentage of ALL vendors removed from the map.

The vendor patch has afew things in it. One being the nerf to limits. One of the others is if your vendor empties it becomes removed from the planet map. And if empty for 2 weeks it will delete itself. Will get email verification before it happens.

I say go even one step further:
Remove all vendors controlled by players that no longer have the skills to support having them.

dont you hate it when your in coronet or somewhere else with lots of shop's close and you think, hmm i need a new bit of armor **open's map and look's for armor vendor's** **goes to closest shop** dam, a empty vendor 
**try's next closest shop** WFT??? i said armor, what dumass put powerup's of a armor vendor??? **try's lot's more vendor's** AHH!!! all empty!
