I put my Crafting apron that had several additional skill mods on it, on my vendor, is there a way to get it back?

/wince OMG ouch!
So sorry, but your Crafter's Apron is gone forever now. Any clothing or weapons you give to a vendor are not retrievable.
This happens so often; there really needs to be a system message, pop up,or something warning about it.

Beware - you can also lose backpacks full of stuff in this way. It's not pretty.

I really should have read the description of the skill before I tried it, it clearly states that all clothing is lost... ignorance is not bliss....

Yeah. That /ex message, "Vendor: Resources is no match for you." with a green asterisk next to it is a lie. Don't believe it! Vendors should con Red!
Merchant: /target Vendor *attempt to drag and drop a dress onto vendor but accidentally grab resources pack instead .... and drop...*
Vendor says: "Thanks for the snazzy new threads Boss!"
Merchant: /scream /target self /slit
*side note: Remember when peoplecouldattack vendors? You'd walk into your shop and find your vendor incapped... /snicker

You can also lose items by dragging them onto the vendor while the vendor is still in your inventory, ready to be placed. I haven't tried this, but I heard about it happening with a pack of resources. Vendors are dangerous.
