Does the toon with merchant have to be the owner of the structure to get the maintence reduction?

can anyone tell me or post a link to where this question is answered.

No, I believe they just have to deposit some maintence into the structure.

Just need to drop in 1 credit to maint, the reduction will remain until someone without the skill pays into the maint pool.

They only need to be on admin long enough to pay, do not even need to stay there.

Works on all structures.

Has anyone tried this with the droids?

Can I assign a droid to pay 1cr and still get the discount?

Do I have to remain on the admin list once the droid has been assigned to the structure in order to pay it?

I've just begun experimenting with droids for paying maintenance and I must say it's great!

I just wanted to know if I should invest in a second one to take care of my various buildings as well as those of my associates.
