Hello,

I don't get the "Item Vendor LImit" thingie. On the one hand ppl keep saying the Number is the total amount of items I can sell in ALL vendors.

On the other hand they say it's the amount I can sell in EACH Vendor!

In Game-Screenshot of the description also says the same: EACH VEndor!

Check the Description!

Well now what?

Template: MAster Merchant, 12 Vendors, 4000 Item Vendor Limit.

Case 1:
4000 / 12 = 333 each Vendor

Case 2:
4000 each Vendor = 48000 in 12 Vendors total.

Anyone can help me pleasE?

When Thunderheart posted the details of the vendor limits, I copied his post onto swgtailor - so here is the article. His original post should be somewhere in development archive, but that would require searching for it.

Well, it seems to be case 1, but this disagree with the description InGame....

The history behind the limits is that at first they were per-vendor limits. At the last minute it was discovered that aggregate limits (which we all found preferable) were possible. The in-game descriptions may not have been updated to reflect that change.

Case 1:
4000 / 12 = 333 each Vendor> you can divide it up this way or put all 4000 on just 1 vendor.

You have the abilty to place 12 vendors, and the abilty to sell 4000 items.

you can sell all 4000 on one vendor and never use your other possible 11.

you can sell 1 item on all 12 vendors and never stock for sell your possible 4000

This is what people meant by total sold on all your vendors,not case 2

Case 2:
4000 each Vendor = 48000 in 12 Vendors total.

Oh, and btw. do offers to a vendor count as an Item in a vendor?

Well, y'all have to admit: If you never was merchant before, and just took a look InGame at the descriptions, and then look on the forums, you'll get confused, won't you?

Both are wrong.
Doesn't matter how many are on one vendor, but total you can't have more than 4000. 1 Vendor with 4000 items, or 12 with 333 each, or 2 with 1000 each, and 5 with 400... all the same

The description might be from TC still, in early testing phases it was an per vendor limit (it was far lower).
