Just an FYI,
There are some shipwrights who are suggesting using merchant vendors for storage purposes. I normally wouldn't care except the shipwright has used the "until the developers give us more storage, I'm justified in exploiting vendors" argument.

you seem kinda lost if I do say so myself. If they have the skill for it, its not an exploit. Simple as that.

It's not just shipwrights, Rexan. It's every merchant that has to deal with a high volume business.
Get your facts right before you go whining.
I'm one of the people who says, unashamed, that until SOE gives merchants a viable means through which to organise and maintain their stock that I will use whatever means I have at my disposal to do so myself.

At the end of the day I've spent my points to take master merchant on both my characters so if my novice shipwright wants to store parts to RE on her vendor I don't see the problem, after all she is only using the skills she has earnt.
The game allows her to do this, she pays for the vendor, and its not hurting any other player in the game. When she is able to RE the components they go onto her Ship Bits vendor for sale anyway.

I use Vendor for storage too
I'm Master Merchant, I can list 4000 Items on my vendor, so how is it an exploit if I do that?
Its not that I dropped all merchant and artisan skills and still can store UNLIMITED stuff there.
Thats the same as saying "Well you might be a TKA-Master but using Unarmedhit3 to kill those rancors is an exploit, because my Master Chef can't do that"

Now that vendors have skill-based caps, no one in good faith can call it an "exploit". There is no rule that says "4000 items that you have an intention to sell".
We can all stop crying about it now...er, at least those that bothered to cry about it in the first place.

I dont 'exploit' my vendors for space...
I just sell my geonosian loot on my vendor in packs for 99,999,999 credits...
I'm not trying to use it for space... im trying to sell it... no one seems to buy them tho...
As are the shipwrights.... they are trying to sell their space loot... thats all...
And no offence dude... but you are not a merchant, you have no right to comment on it...

Just about everyone does it. Want to solve it?
1) Ability to see into backpacks
2) Max price of 999,999 credits
3) Remote browsing from city bazaar terminals
