Maybe I'm being a little odd here, but as master merchant, having had to visit the merchant trainer on several occasions because finding a merchant online can be joyous fun, i have been in the merchant trainers "rooms" in the guild halls and they always have soothing music playing in the background. SImillar to the ID tents. Why can't we have music playing? It adds so much toa tent to have something in the background while you shop and it MIGHT take down some of the obnoxious customers if you can tell them to listen to the music while you "check your inventory" for an item. You could even have different music for different level merchants.
Just a thought pass it on if you like it.

there is a simple way to get music in your store....
its called higher some entertianers.
this will increase bussiness as people can get buffed while they shop. Entertainers will be happy to have a paying gig and not need to wonder if they will get stiffed on tips all night. Shoping customers are already spending money soo tossing 2k-10k to an entertianers is not a big deal, as they are getting BF healed or a mind buff in the time they will be shoping soo now they dont need to go to spam-ville.
your bussiness will definatly go up as people will come just looking for live buffers and interaction compared to the grave yards in theed and c-net
and on the other end you will definatly get good word of month for your store.. Hey go check out this mall you can even heal up BF whle you shop !
the only thing is you need to have set times, or consistant times that you have entertainers working. It will take some work but the pay off is huge.. You will also get other crafters that will want in on this bussniess and you couold before you know it have the best mall in your galaxie

Why not combine the two ideas presented above, and add on some interdepency with the Droid Engineers? That is, Droid Engineers could make a droid similar to a playback droid, but one where you could actually record full band sounds complete with flourishes. A musician could make recordings and sell them to people, such as merchants, who would like some background music. They could last for maybe 24 hours, and then you would have to buy another disc to insert into the droid. They don't have to do any actual healing, just provide ambiance. And, if you would like to provide healing as Jecy suggested, then you could hire the live entertainers. That way you won't be taking away that particular critical function that should be done live.
I realize this is probably quite an undertaking, but I think it would be nice to include some interdependence between all three professions.

Music would be nice. Hiring entertainers is kind of silly unless you have a shop that has people in it all the time
