I just set up my weapon vendor since i hit 3-3-3-3 weaponsmith, and can make fairly decent weaponry now.

My weapon vendor is a Female Wookiee. I dragged a Ryyk Blade on to her, hoping she'd hold it, but she just waved her hand and shook her head, but did not say anything.

I am a merchant 4-4-4-3 right now. is there any reason why I cannot give a vendor a Ryyk Blade to hold?

Same problem for me...Tried to give my Wookie a bandolier and a bowcaster, he wouldn't accept either.

Might be the wookiee part.

It may by some chance go into that whole

'since wookiee clothing has it's own catagory my wookiee vendor won't equip anything not listed there' problem

Both tailors and merchants are aware and annoyed at this problem

not saying that is what it is, but it very well may be

I encountered the Wookiee clothing problem when i made a friend a Chef outfit for his wookiee food vendor.

I gave my vendors stylish outfits and musical instruments. Lazy buggers always seem to be on a smoke break

Since my wook vendor couldn't hold the Ryyk Blade I gave her, I changed my weapon vendor to a Twilek instead. Had a guildie make me a suit of junk Black/Red padded armor without a helmet, and gave the vendor that armor to wear. looks pretty neat in that stuff. Then i made a neat looking E11 Carbine with a Rifle Barrel and Scope on it. looks like a really sweet gun with those parts added to it.

And she reminds everyone that Lok is a dangerous place, and that you shouldn't go far without a weapon.

Ithorians have the same issue as Wookies - no weapons. Probably a clothes category issue as well, but it's annoying.
