It's 1 am, the time when random ideas pop into my head. Would you like it, if merchants could add vendors in forms of Holograms (making a copy of your appearance) that acts as barker module for indoor shops, without storage...just a recordable message...with max 4 sentences and 4 emotes?
I dunno...I just like to see holograms in the game...its a big part of Starwars in forms of communication

Why not go full out? Make it a module for both houses, AND droids. Little R2s running all over showing off your image.
Would be cool to have the hologram no matter where it was at for advertisement.

I thought about droids as well..but considering ...close up view of something other then yourself is rather hard...it might not be 'all that'

i think it would be cool to have it on droids and mabey as some kind of furniture for your house...
but mostly droids, i mean look at R2 and his princess leia message... or obi-wan and his communicationwith the council in ep2...
it mostly comes from droids, but the jedi had something in their council room for holograms too.

go check out the trailer for EP3...
they have a jedi conference and various mebers of the council are their hologram images sitting in their normal chairs as they are out fighting in the clone wars.

That idea is totally cool... It would make for a different advertisement style in Cnet... Get a barker droid, have it open the hologram on pre-set intervals. I'd love for the droids to be able, as it is now, to say more than just one line. Or for us to have more than one droid out at the same time.
I like this idea tho... it is really cool. Perhaps it should only work, when the droid has been given the stay command, so we don't have people running around all over the place, with holograms. Downside would be lots of people having them, and again, merchants wouldn't bee special. Impelement it as a high skill feature

The biggest problem with SWG is the spam factor....you can't read all the ad bubbles, or read the ad's in the chat bar because there's too many going on at a time...so this makes holograms virtually usless for anywhere but maybe for a vendor. the hologram would just be a visual that probably wouldn't look very good anyway

I think this is a great idea. they keep saying they want to add moe "star wars immersion" elements to the game, and this is a GREAT one.
