Thread: Switching out Vendor question...

So I am moving uo throught the Merchant ranks and I have a simple question. I started out with the big clunky vendor and now have the ability to control more vendors and npc vendors. I created a npc vendor in my house next to the clunky vendor. When I use my new NPC vendor I can see everything that I had for sale on the old vendor....here comes the question finally!!! If I destroy my old vendor does everything on it get destroyed as well...or since I can see everything on the new vendor does it automatically get transferred to the new vendor...please help I want to remove my old vendor, but I don't want to loose the 100's of items I have on it. Thanks for your help!

You're going to need to move the items to the new vendor. On the new vendor when you pull it up you'll notice you're looking at everything for that region - if you select the individual vendor you won't see the items in question.
If you delete the original vendor, it will warn you that all items on it will be deleted - so you're going to have to move them. Don't worry though, it's not quite as bad as it seems... You can pull the items off of the old vendor from the new one (even retrieve them from the stockroom on the new one since it's in the same region) - then you just put them up for sale on the new vendor. Make sure you pull them into your inventory before selling them though, or they will just relist on the old vendor.

OMG I know so many merchants who lost tons of stuff thinking even it they put it inthere regional warehouse and destroyed there vendor the items would still be in the regional warehouse and they could retrieve it, they lost everything.
There is no simple way to move your vendors. Unfortunately you have to pull each item off one at a time and reprice it in the vendors.
This is probale one of the worst systems out there especially for those of us who like to keep our vendors stocked and sometimes need to move them for whatever reason.
