I'm having the same problem. For the past FOUR days, I have been trying to get 3000 more XP to get Advertising 2. I have 6 vendors down, and you better believe the only medical vendor in town is getting high traffic, but I'm not getting any XP.

Are you all visiting your vendors? I don't get any experience now because I am 100 ap away from Master, but it used to be that I would get the experience when I visited the vendors. I would get it in one large lump.

I am visiting my vendors, but the only time I got a lump some of XP was when I a) placed a new vendor or b) learned a new merchant skill. I can't move my vendors anymore (I have them dressed and where I want them) and I can't learn any skills right now (waiting for that XP to trickle in so I can get to the next skillbox).

If I'm doing the math correct, for 6 vendors, I should be getting 900 XP/hour. If we count server downtime, that's over 20k XP/day. I have been waiting DAYS to get the 3k XP to get to Advertising 2.

I just had a guild mate who did merchant and he didn't have any trouble at all. It obviously isn't something that is affecting everyone but it is affecting a lot of you. Lets get some more details. The maintenance is all paid up on these vendors correct? There isn't anything else unusual about your set up you can think of is there?

What planet are you guys on? In a player city or outside. If inside a player city are there taxes applied? Are their items for sale (I don't know that this matters but I am trying to find a pattern)

Maintenance on all of my vendors are paid. 4 are in a house that is not in a player city, and near a main city on Rori. Two are in a merchant tent in a player city. On one vendor, there are resources for sale and on the other one, there are medical items for sale. The vendors in the house have nothing for sale, but items are in the stockroom. The two vendors in the player city have 2 things offered to them, 1 at 70k and the other at 600k.

well with the patch today they should be able to track exp, so have someone check what up.

Can anyone who is experiencing this and doesn't have anything in some of the vendors try putting one item in each of the vendors and see if that changes the situation?

I know that my friend who just mastered Merchant always had full vendors. He was selling things every day even though he was only mastering the profession for his Jedi Quest.
