Thread: Is there anyway to remove clothes off a vendor that you put on it.

If you are asking if you can get the items back the answer is no. They become the property of the NPC Vendor and apparently their union demands that they get to keep all clothing recieved during the course of their service. You're free to fire them of course but the next one will behave the same way.


If you are asking if you can get rid of the clothing then there is the methods mentioned above. Putting something that would fit in that slot. You can also try putting something in that slot that isn't valid for that NPC. For example a swoop helm given to a Twi'lek will likely remove the current headwear and then fail to be applied because twi's can't wear them. This is actually a bug that the devs have been fixing over time as they get to individual cases.

there are some "workarounds".....


put a bodysuit on the vendor. then if the next item you put on it is pants, the vendor will be shirtless, a shirt it will be pantsless....


the only way to deal with gloves, jewelry or hats is simply give them a new one...but you cant ever make it hatless or gloveless again
