I like your idea, but I also think we should have an Admin List for a vendor. We can put a vendor down for someone and they can lease it from us. That way they can keep it stocked. This would be good for all my extra vendors. I can have more vendors than I have time to manage at this point and letting someone else use them would be good for me. If things don't work out, I can al;ways delete the vendor since they are only on the Admin List

I'm against administrator rights personally... It's the merchant's job to take care of sales. The idea of consignment is great but has been in the list for a while I think.

I have been posting in the Architect forums to get them to put what weight they can behind this as well. My architectural product sales have not done well because I haven't been playing enough to generate much stock, I would love to fill a vendor with someone else's products, but find I can't risk the capital outlay to buy them up front.

this would actully make merchant worth wild to have..

The Admin Idea needs a bit more fleshing out... I would like to be able to stock and price my goods at what I want then, with a merchant we set the consignment % say some thing like 70-30...and I dont have to wait to stock..

70 Percent of my sale goes to me then 30% goes to my merchant as payment, so this way I am able to maintain the stock and keep maintinece on the vendor, but The merchant is the only one with power to delete the Vendor, give them uniforms, remove maintineceand register/ad bark..

also with me as the admin with 70% intrest, I would get the Email stating such and such was sold off of vendor - Armor this way as the crafter I dont have to constently ask my merchant so what sold today and they dont have to constnetly forward me emails.

The merchant would get an email saying blah amount of credits has been transfred to your bank account from vendor - armor...

People may say that they dont like the Idea of their sales reps (crafters) not being able to set the prices or control the stock... I say well then you would have no one wanting to use your skills. Crafters like to maintain their own stock on their time tables not someone elses... I just want to be able to walk in at 2am and load up a vendor with product, then have to sell everything to a merchant, then have to wait until they get around to stocking while My limited amount of Item space on Offers/sales on Bazaars is sitting Idle waiting for a merchant to do their job...

Admining the Vendors saves us both a lot of headache... Plus you as a merchant will probably never get an agreement with anyone who wants to use a vendor from you for any more that 50/50...

at lower levels the merchant can only Consignment 1 vendor to 1 person at a time equal to their number of vendors at the time, But at Master Merchant the Merchant can Give Consignment of all 6 vendors to one person or split them up how he/she see fit.

also there can never be a Consignment % lower than 10% this way preventing people with multipul accounts from giving their main all the money and not actully have to worry about that merchant again...
