I think I'm confused.

Are /tip(s) taxed or are they simply a money exchange?

What are all the taxes in-game?

Please note that I have yet to start playing, because I'm having to download all the patches on 56.6k modem.

Cash /tips are not taxed. ie: If the person you are tipping is standing close by and you have the money one you in your inventory there is no tax.

However, /tips that use the bank (ie the person is not near by, or you don't have enough cash on you) attract a 5% tax. This means when bank tiping someone 100cr, they get 100cr, and 105cr gets taken out of your account.
