I have thought a lot about trying to improve the quality of life for a Merchant and I have a few Ideas, Let me know what you think.

1) To restructure Hiring and Managing into one Tree to make room for a new one, see details below.

2) The addition of a Storage Room using the current or updated Vendor System Interface. Using the vendor code as the basic building block, and using the Vending machine graphic, this will create a "True" Storage room for items. There will be no sales option, just a Store and Retrieve option. It will require maintence like a vendor, and can only be placed inside a structure, much like a vendor. It will require a tree of its own "Storage Management" with getting +1 storage room at every level. You will be able to allow other people admin to the storage room, allowing rental. Or perhaps many crafters will take up merchant for themselves. This would alleviate a lot of the tension and concern about storage space as the Devs are looking into limiting Admin privledges.

3) Introduce Player City Bazaar Terminal. This is a PCity structure similar in Size to a Bank, that will be connected to the Galaxy Bazaar Terminal. Only a Master Merchant will be able to lay one in a town. We already have a code for banking, and credits, a bazaar should be doable even if its after JTL.

4) In the Advertising Tree, At the 4th level, introduce on the vendor "Connect to thePlanetary Bazaar" This will increase your vendor maintence, but any items you have up will be viewable in the Planet. At master you could get "Connect to the Galaxy Bazaar". Please note that these are only for VIEWING. Given the bazaar credit limit of 6k there is no way in the code to allow you to actually SELL your vendor items through the bazaar. Which brings me to my final point

5) A separate Bazaar System for PRIVATE merchant owned vendors to buy from. Just need an extra tab on the current Bazaar interface. So the established Bazaar will keep its 6k limit, while true dedicated merchants have a vast means of advertising and selling thier goods across the galaxy at the price they want.
