I thought that merchants might be the best place to ask this question. How do I get multiple lines when naming a structure? Do I just keep adding in spaces until it spills over? Thanks for any help.

Simply use your notepad (/notepad) and enter your description as two lines. Then use cut and paste to put in your description. You'll only see one of the lines (Can't remember which -- i'm at work atm), but they'll both appear.
The only problem is that cut and paste aren't in the keymap by default, you need to add them in the options menu. I bound mine to CTRL+SHIFT+C for copy, and CTRL+SHIFT+V for paste.
Hope it helps

kk, that's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. I don't know why I didn't think of that myself

You can also use the color functions because /notepad will display your text in color.
Copy/paste is tricky with the invisible color codes, tho.
Also, your sign will auto-center so don't waste time trying to line everything up just perfectly.

you can doo beutifull colour and multi line messages in WORD and the formatting transfers when you copy on to the windows clipboard and paste in game..
remember not to go wild though as each html colour code seems to count towards your total characture limit on your shop sign
