Thread: May drop Master Merchant :(

Hello, I have been a master merchant sincelast October, Its made me very rich buying low out in the middle of nowhere and selling high in places of high traffic. Now Im looking to retire some of my skills. Still going to keep Efficiency 4 (love my tents) but I currently have only 2 vendors up. One is a three eyed creature cant remember his species name the other is a Purple Protocol droid. Will I lose these? Or do they stay up as long as I pay their maint. fees?

Ehm... now when I think about it. You don't even have to pay to make them stay... they'll stay anyway because they're filled with bugs.

But they *MAY* change it in the future. Don't know what effect that would have on your protocol droid vendor either.

That's usually what I tell people when they ask why my prices are so high.
My theory is that many people have millions of credits so they may as well give them to me.

With the whole profession being borked like it is why bother staying master mrchant when everyone else can have our skills anyway?
Id hope that even if they "fix" vendors Youd still be able to keep your Protocol Droid.

Well, if you only have two vendors up then you can do what I did andjust drop down to0/4/0/0 in merchant.. this way you're not vendor poaching. 1 vendorat Business 3, another vendor at Novice Merchant.

I was going to keep at least 4/4/0/0 for the advertising aspects. I know I run around a lot with Crtl+M on my screen all the time and search out the particular vendor in the malls/PA halls before I go in. I was thinking of putting up a generic droid vendor, maybe the bar droid. Put all my items on the new vendor. Drop master and see if the old Protocol droid goes poof. If not put all the stuff back on. I know this will take a long time. But its not like Im out trying to save the world or something. I'm an Artisan/ Merchant/ Weaponsmith/ Smuggler I'm not out killing stuff.
