I am unable to equip my Wookiee vendor with armor. I've tried Ceremonial and Hunting armor. I've tried opening tickets, but the CSRs (though they mean well) are not ableto help me resolve this problem. In any case, here's the details:
*I have Merchant 4-0-4-3, and a set of Hunting Armor that I would like to have my Wookiee vendor wear.
***Below is some of the suggestions that I have received so far and the funny responses I got. Note that I mention that I am unable to equip my wookiee vendor with Hunting and Ceremonial armor..."Imust inform you that wookies can only wear wookies clothes and armor" ROFL***

Hello, I am unable to dress my wookiee vendor in Hunting Armor. Is this a bug or a feature? I thought I'd ask before I run myself in circles removing the vendor and placing the vendor 10 times

I understand your concern towards the situation, I must inform you that it's not a bug if you are unable to equip the Hunting Armor on your wookiee vendor, but it's an intended game feature. There is not much we can do about the situation and thank you for contacting us.

A guildmate of mine just bought armor from an armorsmith whose vendor was wearing hunting armor. I've bought from wookiee vendors wearing some kind of armor... Are other kinds of armor supossed to work? I can't even get Ceremonial armor on the vendor.

Sorry, Paul. I had to step away from the computer for 3 minutes. Sorry I missed you two tells.
I have Merchant Hiring IV. I was able to dress my other vendors. I still can't put armor on the wookiee vendor.
Can I ask why this ticket is closed before the problem is resolved?

The prevailing theory is that when Wookiee clothing was given its own category with the JTL patch, this somehow broke the ability of Wookiee vendors to wear Wookiee armor.
/bug it and pray.

Along these same lines, a friend got some wookiee clothing from me to replace the wookiee smock that is on his vendor, the armor will not go on at all, and the shoulder pad and crested battle padding will not replace the smock.
Has anyone seen this before and figured a way to fix it or is the wookiee doomed to wear the smock for ever?

Strangely, I don't think that the Wookiee Smock got reclassified as "Wookiee Wear" either. It's still a Robe as far as the game is concerned.

Ah thanks, so that would mean that the smock (being that it was put on the vendor long ago) is technically not there perhaps. and that'swhy even when he tried to equip the other items, they disappeared but did not show up or replace the smock... hmmm... intresting issue indeed. I think I will test this tonight and see if anything is different with a fresh vendor and all new clothing.

Ok, last night I did some playing around with a wookiee vendor I set up.
All regualr wookiee clothing itema are still equipable on a wookiee vendor. However, the wookiee smock and wookiee armor are not equipable any longer on these vendors.
Wookiee vendors that currently have smocks seem to be problematic, if you try to put new clothing on them it will either just disappear and the smock will still be visable ot the vendor will simply wave you off.
Did not have the oppratunity to try out equiping any weapons.

I have passed this thread along with some others with simular issues along to the devs. It appears there are a number of wookiee vendor issues with clothing.
