Hi guys,

I recently created an artisan alt and mastered it. On Saturday night, 2 days ago, I placed a vendor in a public building to acquire merchant XP. I put items in the vendor, initialized it, and also added a 1 credit entrance fee to the structure. Yesterday I checked my merchant XP and it was up to 1450. When I checked again several hours later it had not changed, and this morning when I checked it was still at 1450.

Is their some cap that I don't know about?

Did you or anyone else enter the house where the vendor is located prior to checking your xp?

My main owns the house (its actually a guild hall) but I gave my alt (the master artisan) admin privaledges and my alt was allowed to add the vendor at the structure maintenance terminal. I did use my main to look at the vendor but that was last done on saturday. I then logged my main off in the guild hall and havent touched him since. In fact, that was the last time the maintenance had changed. Since then it has been stuck at 1450.

The updating of XP occurs (seemingly) random, though it is a 'as it loads' type thing.

Go enter the structure and allow vendors to load in..you may have to log and come back..

you do gain the XP from these vendors even if it is not showing
immediatly.

Yup, that was it! I logged in my main and looked at the vendor thus allowing it to load in. When I logged into my alt I saw that I now have 6300 merchant XP! Enough to get novice merchant. w00t! Thanks for the advice!
