Not sure about an answer but I'm starting to noice food factories, equipment, & wearables, plus items I reprice disapear on my vendor.

I've had merchant for about 2.5 weeks and am having a lot of problems with missing items. What happens is: shortly after loading items onto my vendors, I hang on the "Initializing the vendor message". When I am able to get in, the items are not listed on the vendor, not in the stockroom and not in my inventory. The items that were lost 2 weeks ago have still not shown up so I assume they are gone :-( In the past, I hadn't lost any big ticket items, so it wasn't a huge deal but today I lost close to 1 million credits in harvesters and factories.

One time, I changed the price on a landspeeder before loading the items. After I lost the items, I noticed that the price on the landspeeder was back to its original value. It's like the vendors rollback but the rest of the server doesn't, so my items are out of sync.
If anyone can shed any light on this I would really appreciate it.

CS replaced my items today. Yay!!! CSR-DanielD is the man!
So for those of you that lose items there is hope Anyways, he mentioned that items can only be replaced if the disappearance can be verified by the CSR. I documented everything I could about what happened (including times and serial #'s) and he said that made it easier for him to verify.

I'm afraid to place items on my vendor now that some things have disappeared.
