I had an idea to make merchants more usefull. Allow (at a certain skill point) to allow merchants to place vendors in established cities, ie Bestine, Coronet, Dearic ect. This would be benificial as some people don't like running out into BFE to find a merchant. I would place a heavy maintenance fee for placing one in a city and maybe a strict item number cap, but it would offer a convienence for both Merchants and buyers alike. Just something I thought of and wanted to share with you all. Talk, discuss or flame. Thanks for your time.

I agree it would be great, and would fill the many empty vendor tents about in most cities.
It was heavily promoted long ago, as far back as beta, but it was never accepted by the devs. It would limit their ability to do things like the rearangement of Bestine in Publish 6, and might cause lag to worsen.
Hey, I would happily pay a thousand or more credits just to drop some visible itemat some traveled spot inthe city (like a sign) that would poof on the next reset. Most days that would be profitable, some days it would easily be worth 10,000cr.
