Are you sure someone has to click on it? My impression was that just walking into the room for a minute or so would cause the vendor to load and go through its initialziation routines.
I just tested this on Starsider:
Logged in. Checked to see that one of my vendors wasn't on the map yet. Walked into the tent. Waited a few seconds then brought up the Global Map and there it was. I didn't click on the vendor or interact with it in any way..just let it load and gave it a few seconds.
Thanks for the information and the testing. I will also test to see if simply looking at the vendor in my house might reregister the vendors in Theed. The next time I find my vendors not on the map, I will access the one in my house and see if that makes a difference. But it sounds like simply loading into my house may force them to register... I will have to try logging out on the porch most likely.
